- The removal of the plug has to be such that an operator can check from any of the points to
which he has access that the plug remains removed.
- Check regularly, but most definitely before every use, the mains cable and mains plug for
damage. If any damage is visible, then further use of the unit must not be made.
- Routine maintenance must be carried out once a year, earlier if it is very dirty.
- During regular maintenance, check the impeller for visible damage and cracks. If there is
damage, the impeller must be replaced with a new impeller. Never operate the fan with a
damaged impeller!
- Clean the surface of the housing and the guard with a dry cleaning cloth and a damp brush.
Do not use petrol or a similarly flammable cleaning agent.
- In case of necessary repairs, contact an authorized service center.
- After cleaning, the fan must be completely reassembled
- Behavior in case of an emergency:
In the event of visible damage, unusual noises, strong
vibrations and/or malfunction, switch off the unit immediately, unplug the power cord and
secure it against being switched on again. The fan must not be put back into operation until
a qualified electrician has eliminated the cause of the fault and released it for reuse.
- In case of necessary repairs, contact an authorised service centre.
Storage
- If you are not going to use the fan for a long time, keep it in a dry room.
- You can also cover your unit to protect it from dust or dirt deposits.

If the fault can not be remedied using the above listed remedies, then the plug has to be
removed from the socket. A specialist must now establish the cause and carry out the repair
work accordingly. If the mains cable to this unit is damaged, then it can only be repaired by a
repair workshop named by the manufacturer, due a special tool being needed.

Opening the unit and repairs may only be carried out by a specialist!
