Test the unit on an object with a known temperature.
• If the unit does not function as expected on an object of known temperature, replace
the battery.
• If the unit still does not function as expected, send the unit to Greenlee for repair.

Point the temperature sensor at the object to be measured. Press the On Button. The
temperature reading (C

or F
°
) will appear on the display.
4.
Release the On Button. “Hold” will appear to indicate that the unit is holding the last
recorded temperature on the display. The reading will remain for 7 seconds.
Locating a Hot Spot
To find a hot spot, aim the thermometer outside the area of interest then scan across with an
up and down motion.
