IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Electric shock hazard;
Do not use near live circuits.
Contact with live circuits can result
in severe injury or death.
• Inspect the punch, die, draw stud and spacers
for wear or damage. Replace any worn or
damaged items with Greenlee replacement
parts. Replace any punches that have dull
cutting surfaces.
• Thread the punch completely onto the draw stud.
All of the punch threads must be engaged by the
draw stud threads. Incomplete assembly could
cause punch failure, which could propel parts
that could strike nearby personnel with sufficient
force to cause severe injury or death.
• Use only with Greenlee punches, dies, and draw
studs. Other manufacturer’s components may
not withstand the forces generated by this punch
driver and may break and strike nearby person-
nel, causing severe injury or death.
• Use this tool for manufacturer’s intended pur-
pose only. Use other than that which is de-
scribed in this manual can result in injury or
property damage.
Do not allow anyone to stand directly in front of the
punch. A component failure could propel parts that
could strike nearby personnel with sufficient force to
cause severe injury or death.
Wear eye protection when using
this tool.
Failure to wear eye protection can
result in serious eye injury from
flying debris or hydraulic oil.
• Keep hands away from punch, die
and draw stud during operation.
• Lock trigger when tool is not in
use to prevent accidental starting.
Do not dispose of batteries in a fire. They will vent
vapors and may explode.
Failure to observe this warning could result in
severe injury or death.
• Use only the manufacturer-supplied charger
rated for 12 volt nickel cadmium batteries.
• Do not disassemble or attempt to modify
the battery. There are no user-serviceable
components in the battery.
• Do not place the battery in pocket or tool box
with conductive objects (coins, keys, tools, and
other metallic objects).
• Do not place the battery with contacts downward
on damp ground.
• Do not immerse batteries in water or any con-
ductive liquid. If batteries are immersed, contact
your service center for proper handling.
Failure to observe these precautions could result
in personal injury or battery damage from rapid
battery discharge.
Do not expose the punch driver to rain or immerse
in liquids. Injury or tool malfunction can result.
