How to care for your pump
We recommend keeping your pump working over the winter months.
• Use a bucket (preferably with a lid) and fill with clean water.
• Add some vinegar to the water to help prevent the build up of algae.
• Insert the pump into the bucket and let it run continuously until the following growing
season. If you are worried the pump is being over worked, move the solar panel away
from direct sunlight.
