Set-up instructions

IF YOU ARE USING A ‘HOLIDAY WATERING KIT’ WITH YOUR QUADGROW-SOLAR
PLEASE USE THOSE INSTRUCTIONS FIRST

• Place your SmartReservoir on an even surface.
• Connect the cable of the pump to the back of the solar panel.
• Place the pump in the middle of the SmartReservoir.
• Place the Feeder Tray on top of the SmartReservoir.
• Feed the dripper cable up through the hole in the middle of the FeederTray.
• Place the square cover over the hole in the middle of the FeederTray.
• Place the access cover on the open end of the SmartReservoir and secure the Feeder

Tray to the SmartReservoir with the nuts and bolts provided.

• Wet one of the FeederMats.
• Insert the FeederMat through the hole

in the bottom of one of the pots until the

pointed tip is just below the top of the

pot (See image).

• Insert the FeederMat through the hole in the

Feeder Tray and sit the pot in position. Ensure

the FeederMat is touching the bottom of the

SmartReservoir.

• Repeat this with all pots.
• Fill the pots with the HydroCoco while taking care

to keep the FeederMat upright. The FeederMats

should be completely covered by HydroCoco.

• Firm the HydroCoco down around the FeederMat ensuring there is good contact

between the FeederMat and the HydroCoco.

• Make a hole in the HydroCoco large enough for your plant. Add your plant. Firm

the HydroCoco down gently around the plant.

• Place two drippers into each pot, pushing the drippers approximately 1 inch down

into the HydroCoco.

• Water well using a watering can with a rose until the HydroCoco is moist but

not saturated.

Feeding and watering

IMPORTANT: Add water to your nutrient bottles as indicated on the bottles.
• DO NOT mix the nutrients together. It is important to add water to the watering can and

then add the ‘A’ nutrients to the water followed by the ‘B’ nutrients using the dosage

rates below.

• Add 6ml of nutrient ‘A’ and 6ml of nutrient ‘B’ to every 1 litre of water. The Quadgrow-

Solar holds 30 Litres.

• Top-up the SmartReservoir as necessary. For best results and to maximise the life of the

pump do not let the level of water in the SmartReservoir fall below the pump.
