The MIC ON button flashes to indicate the current control setting. The
time that the LED is on gives an indication of the setting - short brief
flashes indicate a low value, long flashes with a brief off time indicate a high
value.
The MIC ON light flashes rapidly when the LEVEL control does not
match the current setting, and slows down once the control is taking effect.
