8.3 Selection of Installation Location
1. B a s ic R e q u ire m e n t:
Installing the unit in the following places may cause
malfunction. If it is unavoidable, please consult the local dealer:
(1) The place with strong heat sources, vapors, flam m able or
explosive gas, or volatile objects spread in the air.
(2) The place with high-frequency devices (such as welding
machine, medical equipment).
(3) The place near coast area.
(4) The place with oil or fum es in the air.
(5) The place with sulfureted gas.
(6) Other places with special circumstances.
(7) The appliance shall nost be installed in the laundry.
2. In d o o r U nit:
(1) There should be no obstruction near air inlet and air outlet.
(2) S elect a location w here the condensation w a te r can be
dispersed easily andwon't affect other people.
(3) S e le c t a lo c a tio n w h ich is c o n v e n ie n t to c o n n e c t the
outdoor unit and near the power socket.
(4) Select a location which is out of reach for children.
(5) The location should be able to w ith sta n d th e w e ig h t of
indoor unit and w on't increase noise and vibration.
(6) The appliance must be installed 2.5m above floor.
(7 ) D o n 't in s ta ll th e in d o o r u n it rig h t a b o v e th e e le c tric
appliance.
(8) Please try your best to keep w ay from fluorescent lamp.
3. O u td o o r U nit:
(1) Select a location where the noise and outflow air emitted by
the outdoor unit will not affect neighborhood.
(2) The location should be well ventilated and dry, in which the
o utdoor unit w o n 't be exposed directly to sunlight or strong
wind.
(3) The location should be able to w ith sta n d the w e ig h t of
outdoor unit.
(4) Make sure that the installation follows the requirem ent of
installation dimension diagram.
(5) Select a location which is out of reach for children and far
away from anim als or plants.If it is unavoidable, please add
fence for safety purpose.
8.4 Electric Connection Requirement
1. S a fe ty P re ca u tio n
(1) Must follow the electric safety regulations when installing
the unit.
(2) A cco rd in g to th e local sa fe ty regulations, use qualified
power supply circuit and air switch.
(3) Make sure the power supply matches with the requirement
of air conditioner. Unstable pow er supply or incorrect wiring
may result in electric shock,fire hazard or malfunction. Please
in s ta ll p ro p e r p o w e r s u p p ly c a b le s b e fo re u sin g th e air
conditioner.

(4) Properly connect the live wire, neutral wire and grounding
w ire of power socket.
(5) Be sure to cut off the power supply before proceeding any
w ork related to electricity and safety.
(6) Do not put through the power before finishing installation.
(7) For a p p lia nce s w ith type Y a tta c h m e n t,th e instru ctio n s
shall contain the substance of thefollow ing.If the supply cord is
dam aged,it must be replaced by the m a n u fa c tu re rs service
agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
(8) The tem perature of refrigerant circuit w ill be high, please
keep the interconnection cable away from the copper tube.
(9) The appliance shall be installed in accordance with national
wiring regulations.
2. G ro u n d in g R e q u ire m e n t:
(1) The air conditioner is first class electric appliance. It must
be p ro p e rly g ro u n d in g w ith s p e c ia liz e d g ro u n d in g d evice
by a professional. P lease m ake sure it is alw ays grounded
effectively, otherwise it may cause electric shock.
(2) The yellow-green wire in air conditioner is grounding wire,
which can't be used for other purposes.
(3) T he g ro u n d in g re s ista n c e should co m p ly w ith national
electric safety regulations.
(4) T he a p p lia n c e m u st be p o s itio n e d so th a t th e plug is
accessible.
(5) An all-pole disconnection switch having a contact separation
of at least 3mm in all poles should be connected in fixed wiring.
(6) Including an air switch with suitable capacity, please note
th e fo llo w in g ta b le . A ir sw itch should be in clu d e d m ag n e t
buckle and heating buckle function, it can protect the circuit-
short and overload. (Caution: please do not use the fuse only
for protect the circuit)
8.5 Installation of Indoor Unit
1. C h o o s in g In s ta lla tio n Io c a tio n
R ecom m end the in sta lla tio n location to the clie n t and then
confirm it with the client.
2. In s ta ll W a ll-m o u n tin g F ram e
(1) Hang th e w a ll-m o u n tin g fra m e on th e w all; a d ju st it in
horizontal position with the level m eter and then point out the
screw fixing holes on the wall.
(2) Drill the screw fixing holes on the wall with impact drill (the
specification of drill head should be the sam e as the plastic
expansion particle) and then fill the plastic expansion particles
