6.3 Function Introduction
1. Cooling Mode
(1) Cooling Conditions and Process
a. When compressor has stopped for 3 min, if Tamb.≥1
o
C, the compressor will be started up.
b. When compressor has stopped for 7 min, if Tamb.≥Tpreset, the compressor will be started up.
c. When compressor has been running for 6 min, if Tamb.≤Tpreset, the compressor will stop.
(2) Under this mode, fan will operate at set speed; cooling mode LED is on; temperature setting range is 16~30
o
C.
(3) Freeze Protection:
When the compressor has operated continuously for 6min and it is detected that Tindoor tube≤0
o
C for continuously 3min, freeze
protection status will be entered. In this case, the compressor will stop and cooling mode LED will blink (superior version); when 3min
delay reaches and Tindoor tube≥12
o
C, the protection will be existed.
2. Fan Mode
Compressor stops and temp can be set; Indoor fan operates at set speed.
3. Dry Mode
(1) Dry conditions and process
a. When Tindoor amb.>2
o
C, the unit will enter cooling mode and indoor fan speed is low which is unadjustable.
b. When Tpreset-2
o
C≤Tindoor amb.≤2
o
C, the unit will enter dry mode. Compressor will run for 6min and then stop for 4min while
fan operates at low speed. The above operation will be repeated in dry mode. In this mode, the compressor will at least stop for 4min for
protection.
c. When Tindoor amb.<Tpreset-2
o
C, compressor will stop and fan will run at low speed.
Under this mode, temperature setting range is 16~30
o
C and cooling mode LED is on(superior version).
4. Auto Mode
Under auto mode, the unit will operate according to standard cooling with Tpreset=25
o
C, which is unadjustable. All indicators and nixie
tube will not be on. In freeze protection, cooling mode LED will blink while other functions are the same as cooling mode.
5. Sleep Mode
Once entering this mode, Tpreset increases 1
o
C in 1 hour and another 1
o
C in 2 hours. There are totally 2
o
C increased during 2 hours
since entering this mode. If there is power-failure after setting this mode, when the unit is energized again, this mode will be cancelled.
Turning off the unit will eliminate sleep mode too. Indoor fan will run at the speed of set mode.
6. Timer On/Timer Off setting:
(1) When the unit is turned on, set the timer for turning off the unit:
Press Timer button to enter the setting status of timer off. The timer LED will blink within 10s and timer setting will be displayed on nixie
tube. In this case, press ▲/▼ button to adjust timer setting and the setting range is “- ” ~ 24h. When the timer is set, press Timer button
again to confirm it. Then the timer LED is on or blinks for 10s, and the timer is activated thereafter (If the timer setting is “-”, the timer is
invalid).
(2) When the unit is turned on and timer off has been set, press Timer button to quit timer off.
c. When the unit is off, set timer on as the way of setting timer off. When timer setting reaches and the unit is on, the buzzer will give out
a beep.
7. Swing:
Press this button to turn on swing function. Press it again to cancel swing function.
8. Protection Code
(1) Ambient temperature sensor is open circuit or short circuit: nixie tube displays F1;
(2) Indoor tube temperature sensor is open-circuit or short circuit: nixie tube displays F2;
(3) Outdoor tube temperature sensor is open-circuit or short circuit: nixie tube displays F4;
(4) In refrigerant lacking protection, “F0” will be displayed;
(5) In overload protection, “H3” will be displayed.
