3. Raise the deck into the service position according to the
instructions in
Raising an Attachment into a Service
To remove the deck lift lock pin:
1. Lower the deck from the service position into a
horizontal position, and then raise the deck to its highest
position.
2. Remove the lift lock pin from the deck lift arm bracket
and store it with the manuals under the seat of the
power unit.
IMPORTANT:
NEVER operate the unit with the lift lock pin
in place. Operating the unit with the lift lock pin in place may
damage the pin or the latch mechanism.

Check Fasteners
Make sure that all hardware is tightened to proper torque. Pay
special attention to mower blades, guards and safety shields.
General Lubrication
Apply grease to lube fittings, wheel bearings and caster pivots.
Apply oil to pin connections, pivot points, and sliding parts. See
Every 25 Hrs.
Check Mower Blades
Ensure mower blade hardware is tightened to 115 – 160 lbf-ft.
(156 – 217 N•m). Check mower blades for wear. Sharpen or
replace mower blades as needed (see
Every 100 Hrs.
Check Belts
Replace worn or deteriorated belts.

Every 200 Hrs.
Check Gearbox Oil Level
Add SAE 90 oil as needed.
