Building instructions
Before you start gluing parts together, use a servo tester or the radio control system to
check that the servos are working properly.
Fit the rudder servo lead through the opening in the fuselage tail section, and glue the fin
in the recess, taking care to keep it exactly at right-angles to the tailplane.
Allow the glue to set hard, then route the servo leads inside the fuselage (to the
receiver). Offer up the tail section to the main fuselage and screw the parts together.
Glue the pilot figures to the cockpit moulding to complete this area.
Glue the moulded locating piece to the front of the canopy frame, and the hook to the
rear of the frame, using cyano for both joints.
Glue the canopy to the canopy frame using contact cement (UHU-por).
The canopy is held on the fuselage using the rubber band fitted inside the fuselage:
connect it to the hook on the rear end of the canopy frame.
Plug the servo leads into the appropriate receiver sockets. Fit the receiver in the recess
in the fuselage, and deploy the aerial wire along the fuselage. Switch the radio control
system on, set the servos to centre, and adjust the pushrods if necessary.
We strongly recommend the use of an SPCM receiver for this model. The flight battery
should be fixed to the battery support using Velcro tape, Order No. 3368.
