Jupiter System Configuration
The following overview of L-S series panel configuration assumes that the
reader is familiar with the Jupiter Facility Control System. Please refer to
the
Jupiter CM-4000 Installation and Operating Manual for specific informa-
tion.
MPK Table Entries
The Jupiter MPK table is used for configuration purposes. The example
shown in
Figure 26 applies to the system shown in Figure 23 on page 53 .
Note A Serial Device entry in the MPK table is required whether it is used or not.
This entry can be an ASCII or an ESSwitch Device type. For instructions on
defining an ASCII or an ESSwitch port, see the
Jupiter manual (part #
071826104) .

MPK Devices - This column is used to create a name, up to eight characters in
length, for each L-S panel. This name must be unique system-wide.

Expansion
- For L-S series panels, leave unchecked.
Password
- Password level only needs to be entered if you wish to disable the
Configuration and Setup menus on the Control panel. See the Disabling the
Configuration and Setup Menus on the Control Panel section below for more
information.
