Configuration and Monitoring
With input reporting enabled, the input signal will be reported as Present
for all bit rates above 19Mb/s. Inputs not recognized by the module will be
reported as Not Monitored.
Local Configuration and Monitoring
The 8935CF module can be configured and monitored locally (from the
front edge of the circuit board) using the rotary and paddle switches and
the LEDs mounted on the top and bottom front edge of the module. LEDs
are used to indicate status of the signals and the current settings.
Onboard Controls
Local/Remote Jumper
The on-board jumper Local/Remote jumper, J8, (
) is set at the
factory for local and remote (LOC/REM position, pins 2-3) to allow remote
control. It can be changed to lock out remote control if desired (LOC posi-
tion, pins 1-2).
Rotary and Paddle Switches
Switch S1 and S2 on the front edge of the module are used for setting the
operating mode of each channel. Refer to
for using these controls.
