4. LOADING A DOCUMENT

Media Thicknesses

Observe the following points when scanning a thick medium.
• The CS1000EV/CS1100EV cannot scan a document that is thicker than 1.5 mm.
• When using the carrier sheet, ensure that the combined thickness of both the document

and carrier sheet does not exceed 1.5 mm.

• The carrier sheet alone is 0.2 mm thick.
