PREPARATION FOR OPERATION
MAXIMUM CUTTING THICKNESS
Maximum cutting thickness depends on processed material hardness.
This power tool allows for straight and deformation free cutting of sheets with following gauges:
Type of material
Max sheet gauge
Steel 400 N/mm
2
2.5 mm
600 N/mm
2
1.8 mm
800 N/mm
2
1.0 mm
Aluminium 200 N/mm
2
3.0 mm
SETTING GAP BETWEEN CUTTERS
Disconnect plug from mains socket before any tool adjustment, maintenance or repair.
Gap between cutters ‘
a
’ (clearance between cutting edges) depends on processed sheet gauge.
Set smaller gap for cutting soft or ductile sheets, set larger gap for hard or brittle sheets.
Below table shows suggested gap between cutters depending on sheet gauge:
Sheet gauge (mm)
Gap between cutters
‘a’ (mm)
0.3 – 0.6
0.10
0.8 – 1.2
0.25
1.3 – 1.6
0.30
Ɣ
Loosen bottom cutter screw (
7
).
Ɣ
Use adjustment screw (
3
) to set desired gap ‘
a
’ between cutters (
fig. A
).
Ɣ
Tighten fixing screw of the bottom cutter (
7
) that has been loosened.
There must be no contact between bottom cutter (4) and upper cutter (5).
OPERATION / SETTINGS

on the label fixed to the power tool.
SWITCHING ON / SWITCHING OFF
Ɣ
Slide the switch (
1
) backwards and hold in this position.
Ɣ
For continuous operation press front part of the switch button. Switch button will automatically lock in
