3. Make the electrical connection to suit either of the

following.
-Grant hopper only and low pellet indicator lamp see
figure 7.3.
-Grant hopper supplied by bulk hopper system see
figure 7.4.

The electrical supply to the bulk feed auger will
need a mains isolator to isolate the auger when

the hopper is empty of pellets.

4. Secure all cables fitted in the cable clamp and refit

the panel cover.

7.2 Frost protection

For additional protection of either the entire heating
system, or the boiler and localised pipework, it is
recommended that a frost thermostat be installed; it is
also recommended that it be used in conjunction with a
pipe thermostat to avoid unnecessary and wasteful
overheating of the property. The pipe thermostat should
be located on the boiler return pipe, and set to operate at
25°C. Refer to fig 7.3 & 7.4 for connection details.
