Note: The maximum dwell time that can be set is 10 hours and 59 minutes. The minimum
dwell time is one minute.
6.5.2.6. Setting the segment ramp rate (rate only)
Click once in the
Ramp rate (
o
C/min)
box of the segment to be changed. The background will
change from white to light blue to indicate it has been selected. Type in the new desired ramp
rate (to one decimal place) and press
‘enter’ to store the value.
Note: The ramp rate is limited to a range of values depending on the model type. Values
entered outside the range will default to the highest or lowest acceptable rates.
Note: Although a valid ramp rate is chosen the unit may still not be able to follow it, please
refer to the Troubleshooting section of the CRF-1 Operating Instructions for more information.
6.5.2.7. Setting the segment FF offset
This value is predefined and should not need to be altered.
Note: If the value displayed for a new segment is very different from the existing values
please contact your distributor or Grant for support and advice.
6.5.2.8. Setting the segment hold back
This value is predefined and should be set to
Off
.
6.5.2.9. Setting the indicator light configuration & heater state
Click once in any of
Ready Light
,
Nucleate Light, On Light
or
Heater
boxes of the segment
to be changed. The
Profile Output Editor
dialog box opens (see Figure 25) which allows all
of these parameters to be adjusted.

The
Ready Light
is always used to indicate that the CRF-1 is stable at the start temperature.
Depending on the ambient conditions it will take approximately 10 minutes for the CRF-1 to
