
Users can place a call on hold by pressing the HOLD softkey
during an ongoing call. The active LINE key will blink in
green (GRP2602/GRP2603/GRP2604). The call can be resumed by pressing on the Hold softkey again.
When there is a new call, the call screen will display the new incoming call information, and the Call waiting tone (stutter tone)
will be audible during the active call, Use the UP/DOWN keys to switch between the two calls screens.
Users can choose whether to answer the new call using the Answer softkey
, Reject the call using the Reject softkey
, forward the call using the Transfer/Forward softkey
or mute /silence the call using the silence softkey
.
When silence softkey is pressed, the call waiting tone will be muted.

Mute
During an active call, press the MUTE button
to mute/unmute the microphone. The LCD will show the Mute
icon on the top of the screen when the call is muted.
Call Transfer
GRP2601/GRP2602/GRP2603/GRP2604 supports Blind Transfer and Attended Transfer:

1. During an active call, press the TRANSFER button
.
2. Dial Transfer destination number.
3. Press Transfer softkey
to complete transfer of the active call.
Attended Transfer
.
During an active call, press the TRANSFER button
.
Dial Transfer destination number and press on dial softkey
.
The first call will be put on hold and a new call will be initiated with the transfer destination.
When the second call is answered, Users could press on the Switch softkey
to switch to the initial call (The
second call will be put on hold) or press on transfer softkey
to complete the transfer.
Notes:
To transfer calls across SIP domains, SIP service providers must support transfer across SIP domains.
When the” Hold Call before Completing Transfer” Option is set to “No” on the WEB GUI, the phone will neither hold the
current call in the transfer window nor hold the call with the transfer target before referring the call in the attended
transfer.
The Attended Transfer can be finished by on-hooking the phone.
