18.0 Using the Tether

UAS
seating positions have tether anchors. Always use tether, check your vehicle owner’s
manual for the tether anchor location(s). If your vehicle is not equipped with a tether anchor, it
may be possible to install one. Contact your vehicle dealership for the proper anchor location and
installation.
You may purchase tether anchor parts kit by calling call Elfe Juvenile Products at 1-800-667-8184
(514-344-3533).
1. Check that tether is securely attached to
child restraint.
2. Fasten tether clip to anchor point

3. Tighten the tether strap securely

4. To loosen, lift up on the metal tongue of the
buckle
