Troubleshooting
1. Follow
checking or repairing the pump.
2. Check all possible problems and causes before
disassembling pump.

Pump fails to operate
The air supply is inadequate or air
lines are restricted.
Increase the air supply; clear the air
line.
The valves are closed or clogged.
Check that all valves are open and
clear clogs.
The fluid hose or dispense valve is
obstructed.*
Open and clear the hose or
dispense valve.
The fluid hose ID is too small.
Use a hose with a larger ID.
Fluid has dried on the displacement
rod.
Clean the displacement rod. Always
stop the pump at the bottom or its
stroke. Keep the wet-cup 1/3 filled
with a compatible solvent.
Motor parts are dirty, worn, or
damaged.
Clean or repair motor parts; see
your motor manual.
Pump operates, but output is low on
both strokes.
The air supply is inadequate or air
lines are restricted.
Increase the air supply; clear the air
line.
The valves are closed or clogged.
Check that all valves are open and
clear clogs.
The fluid hose or dispense valve is
obstructed.*
Open and clear the hose or
dispense valve.
The fluid hose inner diameter (ID) is
too small.
Use a hose with a larger ID.
The bleeder valve is open.
Close the bleeder valve.
