The front rail can be extended to accommodate machine throats of varying lengths. Loosen the
knobs under the take-up rail.

Pull your top plate or quilting machine as far forward as possible. If your machine hits the front
rail, extend out the
front rail
to create about an inch of space between it and the machine.
Close the levers when satisfied.
Tip:
Slide the machine from one side to the other to check that
everything is square.

additional half-inch of space
between the front rail and
