1.  Remove all packaging material and all stickers and labels. 

2.  Wipe the inside and outside of the unit with a moist cloth. 

3.  Ensure that the 

baking plates

 are clean. 

NOTE: 

During the first few use, there may be a “hot plastic” smell. This 

is perfectly normal in new waffle makers as the material is heated for 
the first time. Heating the waffle maker once without any food inside for 
about 10 minutes is recommend. Ensure the room is properly ventilated 
during the first use.

USING YOUR WAFFLE MAKER

1.  Place the waffle maker on a stable, level and heat-resistant 

surface. 

2.  Close the waffle maker and plug the power cord into a wall outlet. 

The red 

power light

 turns on, indicating that the unit is on and 

preheating. 

NOTE:

 The red 

power light

 stays on until you unplug the waffle maker. 

3.  Turn the 

temperature control knob

 to the desired setting. The 

higher the setting, the darker the waffles will be.

4.  After preheating, the green 

ready light

 turns on, indicating that the 

unit is ready to cook the waffles.

5.  Coat both the top and bottom 

baking plates

 with either nonstick 

cooking spray or a thin layer of cooking oil brushed on.

6.  Pour the waffle batter onto the 

bottom baking plate

, evenly 

coating the entire surface. The green 

ready light

 turns off.

7.  Close the waffle maker and use the 

handle

 to rotate the 

baking 

plates

 180° clockwise until it is locked in for cooking.

NOTE:

 The waffle maker is locked when the 

temperature control knob

 is 

facing down. It opens when the 

temperature control knob

 is facing up.
