Keep this device out of the reach of children or unqualified persons, since 

the misuse of contents and packaging materials may result in hazard or 

death.

Scorching and Burns: Refrain from touching hot surfaces or water content 

while the device is in use. Instead, use handles or knobs as needed.

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be 

followed including the following:

Read all instructions.

To protect against risk of electrical shock do not immerse the cord, plug, or 

unit in water or any other liquid.

3.

Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near 

children.

4.

Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow device to 

cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning.

5.

Remove beaters and other attachments from mixer before washing.

6.

Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug,  or after the 

appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. Return the 

appli-ance to the nearest authorized service center for repair or electrical or 

mechani-cal adjustment.

The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the manufacturer may 

cause fire, electric shock or injury.

Avoid contact

 

with

 moving parts. Keep hands, hair, and clothing, as well as 

spatulas and other utensils away from beaters during operation to reduce 

risk of injury to persons, and/or damage to mixer.

Do not use outdoors.

Do not allow the cord to hang over the edge of a table or counter, or touch 

hot surfaces.

11.

Do not place the appliance on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a 

heated  oven.

Check that control is off before plugging cord into wall outlet. To disconnect, 

turn control to OFF, then grasp the plug and remove it from the outlet. Never 

yank the cord to remove the plug.

13.

Do not use the appliance for other than its intended  use.

 

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME

Carefully unpack the appliance and remove all the packaging materials. To 

remove any dust that may have accumulated during packaging, wipe the 

exterior of the mixer base with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly. Wash the flat 

beater, dough hook, balloon whisk and 6-quart mixing bowl in warm, soapy 

water and dry thoroughly. 

Caution: Do not immerse the appliance base, cord or plug in water. Wash 

bowls, splash guard, flat beater, wire whisk and dough hook

Important: Do not use harsh or abrasive cleansers on any part of the 

appliance.

. Do not leave appliance unattended while it is operating.

15. Do not twist, kink or wrap the power cord around the appliance, as 

this may    cause the i     insulation to weaken and split, particularly in the 

location where it enters the unit.

to properly grounded outlets only.
