USE
Please Note!
■
Check the device and the connecting
cable for damage each time before
putting it into operation. The device
should only be used when it is un-
damaged and in working order.
■
Only connect the device to a plug
socket that is properly installed and
matches the technical data of the
device. The plug socket must also be
readily accessible after connection so
that the connection to the mains can
quickly be isolated.
■
Do not use the device with cable
extension reels or extension cables
which are more than 3 m long.
■
Do not connect the device along with
other consumers (with a high wattage)
to a multiple socket in order to pre-
vent overloading and a possible short
circuit (fi re).
■
Make sure that the connecting cable
is not squashed, bent or laid over
sharp edges and does not come into
contact with hot surfaces (including
those of the device!).
■
Never use the device without the fat
collecting tray.
■
Kitchen utensils used to turn and re-
move the food must be heat-resistant
and be made of wood or plastic.
■
Ensure that there is suffi cient ventila-
tion while the device is in operation.
Although the grill plate (
1
) has a
non-stick coating, we still recom-
mend that you lightly grease it.
Do not use any cooking spray as
it can attack the non-stick coating!
We recommend that you only
season the ingredients after
preparation as the herbs and spic-
es can burn if they get too hot.
1. Prepare the food.
2. Make sure that the temperature con-
trol (
3
) is at
0
.
3. Fully unwind the connecting cable
and plug the mains plug into a plug
socket.
4. Use the temperature control to set
the temperature level you want: Turn
the number of the temperature level
towards the control lamp (
10
). There
are 5 temperature levels:
Level 1:
approx. 110 °C ± 15 °C
Level 2:
approx. 140 °C ± 15 °C
Level 3:
approx. 170 °C ± 15 °C
Level 4:
approx. 195 °C ± 15 °C
Level 5:
approx. 220 °C ± 15 °C
5. Allow the device to heat up. The con-
trol lamp will light up during heating.
When the control lamp goes out,
the device has reached the desired
temperature.
6. Place the food on the grill plate and
turn it regularly.
7. Regulate the temperature as you
require.
8. Once the food being grilled is as
cooked and browned as you want,
remove it from the grill plate.
9. After use, turn the temperature control
to position
0
and
pull the mains plug
out of the plug socket.
10. Allow the device and accessories to
cool down and then clean them (see
the “Cleaning and Storage” chapter).
