utes, the control panel switches
off again. To activate it, touch the

The temperatures and cooking times
which are set for the programmes are
merely averages and should be adjusted
if necessary. As the various foods diff er
due to their origin, size, shape and quality,
the actual cooking temperatures and
times may vary.
4. The temperature or cooking time for a
selected programme can be changed
(with the exception of
REST
) as
follows:
–
Cooking temperature: Touch the
TEMP
button (

). When the tem-
perature display (

) fl ashes, set
the desired temperature with the
selection knob. Then confi rm with
the
TEMP
button.
–
Cooking time: Touch the
TIME
button (

). When the cooking time
display (

) fl ashes, set the desired
cooking time with the selection
knob. Then confi rm with the
TIME
button.
5. Start the grilling process by pressing
the selection knob. The grill chamber
is heated up to the set temperature.
The cooking time or temperature can-
not be changed during operation. To
do this, the device must be stopped.
To stop the device prematurely, press
the selection knob again.
6. In the meantime, place the meat if
possible within the marking on the cold
grill rack.
Once the set temperature has been
reached, you will hear a beep and the
cooking time display starts to count
backwards.
7. Hook the handle (

) on the grill rack
(Picture
D
) and push it as far as pos-
sible into the grill chamber so that the
surface of the meat is exposed to the
maximum temperature. Make sure that
the food being grilled does not touch
the heating element (

).

Detach the handle from the grill
rack again immediately
so that it
does not heat up.
9. Once half the cooking time has
elapsed, you will hear a short beep.
Turn the meat.
10. When the cooking time elapses, the
heating element switches off auto-
matically and you will hear a beep.
However, the fan continues to run and
the control panel remains on while the
grill chamber is still hot.
11. Leave the meat to rest until it is
cooked to the desired level. There are
diff erent ways to leave the meat to rest
depending on the size and texture of
the meat:
