Never touch the device, the cord or the plug with wet hands.

Only toast suitable bakery products in the toaster.
❐
Only use the accessories recommended by the manufacturer.

Do not leave the device on when it is unattended.
❐
Do not allow the device to fall and do not subject it to strong percussions.

Meals of excessive size, metal foil packages or tools may not be placed in the toaster because
they could cause a fire or an electrical shock.
❐
Do not cover the toasting slots by placing rolls, slices of bread or other objects, e. g. dishes,
on them. Be absolutely sure to use the roll rack to crisp up rolls!

Only use the device with the crumb tray inserted and if it has been emptied regularly.
❐
Ensure that the toaster is able to deactivate after the toasting process. Faults may be caused,
among other things, by objects, which block the operating lever or when bakery products of
excessive size are inserted in the toasting slots.

If you encounter faults during the toasting process, disconnect the mains plug from the
socket and allow the device to cool off. Remove anything jammed in the toasting slot by
moving the operating lever up and down a few times.
❐
Do not tamper with the device by inserting knives, forks or other metallic objects in the
toasting slots.
❐
Do not remove any food from the toaster while it is operating.
❐
When removing the bread from the device after toasting, be careful to avoid burns. If
necessary, use kitchen tongs to remove the bread.
❐
Never place the roll rack on the device when you are toasting bread in the toasting slots.
You could burn yourself when removing the bread.
Warranty conditions
Defects arising due to improper handling, damage or attempts at repair are excluded from the
warranty. This also applies to normal wear and tear.
