DRYING FRUITS
• Wash the fruits.
• Cut inedible and broken parts.
• Cut into pieces that you can freely place between the plates.
• You can put fruit into lemon or pineapple juice so that it does not wither.
• If you want your fruits to smell nice, you can add a cinnamon or coconut sachet.
DRYING OF VEGETABLES
• Wash vegetables.
• Cut inedible and broken parts.
• Cut into pieces that you can freely place between the plates.
• We recommend cooking vegetables for about 1-5 minutes, put them in cold water and then wipe
dry.
DRYING MEDICAL PLANTS
• After drying, we recommend placing the plants in paper bags or glass cans and place them in a
dark, cool place.
STORAGE OF DRIED FRUITS
• Containers for storing dried products should be clean and dry.
• Use glass containers with metal lids and place them in a dark, dry place where the temperature
should be 5-20 degrees.
• In the first week after drying, check if the container is free of moisture. If it is not, it means that the
products are not well dried and should be dried again.
