Handset Setting

System PIN number

The Ezichat DECT has a built-in system PIN which is used for preventing misuse 

of certain features or accidental mis-programming of certain features. The factory 

default setting for the Pin Number is 0000. You can change it to any other four digits 

you can remember easily. 

To change the PIN number proceed as follows:

1.  Press   and then [1] key.

2.  The screen shows “----” to prompt you to input the current PIN (factory default is 

  0000).

3.  Enter the current PIN number then followed by   key.

4.  The “----” will be shown again.

5.  Enter the new 4 digit numeric PIN followed by   key.

6.  The “----” will be shown again.

7.  Enter the new 4-digit numeric PIN followed by   key again for confirmation.
