Rough Capacitance Measurement

Set the range selector switch (1) to one of the measur-
ing ranges

capacitance value to be measured.

Capacitance is measured according to the ballistic
method. Connect the capacitor a few times to the mea-
suring leads with changing polarity and read the largest
pointer deflection on the

F scale.
With this method, the capacitance of the capacitor to be
measured can only roughly be determined. The measured
value can deviate from the actual value by up to
±
25 %.
