1 time countdown with the warning beep at
the expiry, without the switch off function
2 setting the timer controlled period of
   operation for a particular hotplate

Countdown of preset time

By activating the (-) sensor you have switched on the timer
countdown (initial value is set at 99 minutes), or by pressing
the (+) sensor (the countdown starts with 30 minutes). Desired
time is selected by pressing either the

(+) or (-)

 sensor. After a

few seconds the sound signal indicates the beginning of the
countdown operation. Preset time may be changed at random
during the countdown. The sound signal indicates that the time
has elapsed and the indicator displays flashing

"00"

which may

be switched off by pressing any sensor.

Timer controlled period of operation for a particular
hotplate

In this mode you are able to select the exact operation time for
any hotplate. After the time has elapsed the hotplate
automatically turns off.
Time may be preset parallel for one hotplate only, which must
be switched on. First switch the timer on by pressing one of the
timer sensors. All hotplate indicators display the letter

"t".

Within the next 10 seconds you must select the hotplate to be
time controlled by pressing either

(-) or (+)

 sensor and set the

heating power. Along with the clock, the indicator displays the
decimal dot, showing which hotplate is being preset. Each 15
seconds the indicator of the selected hotplate displays
intermittently the flashing letter

"t"

 and the power regulation

number.
Once the preset time has elapsed the selected hotplate is
automatically switched off, time indicator flashes intermittently
"

0"

 and the remaining heat warning

"H"

 , there is a continuous

beep, the timer indicator displays flashing

"00"

, and the

decimal dot is off. Optical and sound signals may be switched
off by touching any sensor.

Other hotplates without the preset operation time continue with
normal operation.

Limited time of operation

This function is incorporated for safer operation of your hob.
Each hotplate is equipped with the time limit switch. The period
of operation is calculated in accordance with the last selected
power setting of a particular hotplate.
If the power setting is not changed for a while, the hotplate will
be switched off automatically after a certain period of time,
depending upon the power setting level (higher power setting –
shorter time - see chart).

If both the

(+) and (-)

sensor are preset together the hotplate is

switched off.
If all the hotplates indicate the

"0"

 power setting, the hob is

switched off after 10 seconds.
If any of the sensors is activated for more than 10 seconds the
hob is switched off, the double beep sounds every two
seconds. If the fault persists the hob is switched off
automatically.

Oven

Important warnings!

•

Never put aluminum foil to the bottom of the oven, and do
not place any crockery upon it. The oven enamel may be
damaged by the excessive heat.

•

Fruit juice, dripping from the baking pan, may produce stains
upon the enamel, which are very hard to remove.

Operation

Oven is controlled by the
function knob and the
temperature selection knob.

Modes of operation

Oven may be used in the following modes.

Oven illumination

Oven illumination may be switched on independently, without
any other function.
This may come handy during the cleaning, or when switched
off and using the remaining oven heat.
During all other oven functions the illumination is automatically
switched on with the selection of a particular function.
Some models have installed two lamps for oven lighting; one at
the top of rear wall and the second one at the middle of right-
handed side wall .

Applying upper and lower heater

Heaters from the upper and the lower side uniformly heat the
exposed food.
Baking and roasting is possible only at single level.
