sure

lubricated

 

with

 

appropriate

 

grease

Check

 

unit’s

 

manifold

 

for

 

debris

 

and

 

clean

 

if

 

necessary

 

before

 

attaching

 

flexible

 

shaft.

 

 

Insert

 

the

 

square

 

driver

 

of

 

flexible

 

shaft

 

into

 

the

 

in

 

the

 

drive

 

shaft

 

of

 

the

 

machine

 

(inside

 

the

 

manifold).

 

The

 

shaft

 

driver

 

may

 

have

 

to

 

be

 

rotated

 

slightly

 

for

 

proper

 

alignment.

 

 

Push

 

shaft

 

insert

 

with

 

the

 

o

ring

 

all

 

the

 

way

 

into

 

the

 

machine

 

manifold.

 

 

Push

 

the

 

shaft

 

locking

 

nut

 

firmly

 

into

 

the

 

quick

 

connect

 

latches

 

until

 

they

 

click,

 

locking

 

the

 

nut

 

in

 

place.

 

 

Make

 

sure

 

both

 

latches

 

are

 

properly

 

engaged

 

by

 

gently

 

pulling

 

on

 

the

 

shaft

 

Strain

 

Relief.

 

 

To

 

remove,

 

open

 

latches

 

by

 

pinching

 

tabs

 

together

 

and

 

pull

 

shaft

 

out

 

of

 

manifold
