Operating the television
Switching between TV/PC/AV
Ensure the connected video equipment is switched on and connected as
described in ‘Connecting external equipment’, see page 14.
Press the appropriate button:

Press
TV
to switch to TV mode.
•
Press
PC
button once to switch to PC mode.
•
Press
VIDEO
button to switch to AV mode. Repeatedly press the
VIDEO
button to scroll through the AV signals, i.e. SCART1, SCART2,
CVBS and YC.
Changing programs
Use either the P and P buttons to change the program or enter the
number of the program you require using the numeric buttons on the
remote control.
If the program number you require is greater than 9, you will need to press
the
-/--
button then enter the two digits.
Adjusting the volume
Press the
VOL+
or
VOL-
button to adjust the sound level.
Mute
Press the mute
button, , and the sound is muted.
Press the mute
button, , again or
VOL+ / VOL
button to turn the sound
back to the previous level.
Screen aspect ratio
The television picture can be set to a number of aspect ratios as defined in
the following paragraphs.
To select an aspect ratio repeatedly press the
F
button to scroll
through the options until the one you desire is displayed.
You can also set the television to the Auto mode by pressing the
AUTO
button on the remote control.

4:3
This is the normal aspect ratio used by most broadcast TV
programmes. Blank areas will appear at the sides of the picture - this is
normal.
