USING YOUR HEATER

1. Place the heater on a flat, smooth and firm surface
2. Put the selector switch to (0) OFF
3. Plug into a socket of 220-240Vac, 50 Hz. Make sure that no other appliances are
plugged into the same socket as your heater. The circuit could overload.
4. Turn the temperature control clockwise to the maximum position.
5. Put the selector switch to the fan option or one of the two heater options.

6. When the room is at the temperature desired, turn the thermostat knob of the
temperature control to the left (anticlockwise) until the appliance disconnects with a
soft “click”. It will now automatically start and stop to maintain the heat in the room
constant.

NOTE:

THE TEMPERTURE CONTROL does not vary the fan speed.
The heater is fitted with indicator pilot lights (RED). The pilot light shows that the
unit is working. It lights up when the heater is in the working position.

AUTOMATIC SAFETY SWITCH OFF TO AVOID OVERHEATING

Your heater has an automatic switch off device. This device will switch the heater
off if the temperature inside the casing rises too high. If the switch is activated, it will
disconnect the fan elements until the unit is switched on again. If the heater turns
off, make sure that all the openings are free from obstructions.

IMPORTANT

To restart the anti-overload protection when the heater has turned itself off, unplug
the heater for at least 10 minutes to allow it to cool. If the safety switch continues to
operate often, repeat the above steps. Do not attempt to adjust the heater, take the
unit to an authorised service centre to be repaired and/or replaced according to the
terms and conditions of the guarantee.

FROST CONTROL

For the Frost Control to operate, the main selector must be in either position

 or

and the thermostat set to the lowest setting (

) i.e.: fully anti-clockwise.

In this position, the heater will come into operation when the temperature falls below
approximately 5

°

C.
