OVERVIEW OF YOUR GOLDAIR ELECTRIC BLANKET
Your Goldair electric blanket is equipped with a 9 heat control. Two controls are supplied with Queen and
King size electric blankets.
9 HEAT CONTROL
The control features an on/off switch and two buttons to control the heat settings and the timer.
It also has a LED readout for temperature setting and timer setting.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. You can program your blanket to work for 1-9 & 12 hours and 1-9 heat settings
2. Plug into the mains power supply and switch on the socket.
3. Switch on the blanket with “On/Off” button.
4. The LED for timer and temp will be illuminated.
5. By pressing the Temp button you will be able to adjust the heat s settings from 1
– 9.
1 being lowest and 9 being highest. This will be indicated with the left LED.
6. You can also set the timer to turn the blanket off after a predetermined time being 1-9 hour or 12 hours.
The LED will show “H” when the timer is set to 12 hours. This will be indicated with the right LED.
EVERYDAY USE
With normal use your electric blanket will require 15 minutes of preheating on the maximum setting before
bedtime. We recommend that you turn the blanket down to low when sleeping.
STORING YOUR BLANKET
Always allow the blanket to cool before storing. Your blanket can remain on the bed all year round as a
comfortable under-blanket. Simply remove the controls and store until winter. If you wish to remove the
blanket from your bed when not in use, roll or fold it loosely and store in a blanket bag or the bag it was
supplied in. Avoid pressing sharp creases into the blanket.

FITTING YOUR GOLDAIR ELECTRIC BLANKET
Place the electric blanket on the mattress with the elastic bands under the blanket. Ensure the end of the
blanket with controls is at the top end of the bed.
Once the blanket is in the correct position fit the elastic bands over the corners of the mattress.
Connect the control units into the socket's on the blanket and plug into a power point and turn on. The cord
and control switches must be kept outside the bed and away from external heating sources, such as heaters
or bedside lamps.
