OVERVIEW OF GOLDAIR UPRIGHT CERAMIC HEATER
Your GOLDAIR Ceramic Heater is designed to provide instant direct personal heating. The heater is
equipped with a ceramic heating block that self regulates power consumption so as to minimize energy
consumption. The heater is equipped with two heat settings and a fan option.
OPERATING YOUR HEATER
Always choose a safe location for the heater, keeping in mind the safety precautions outlined. Ensure all
packaging has been removed form the unit before use. This appliance requires no installation, it should be
used solely as a portable appliance.
HEAT CONTROL SWITCH
The control switch positions are:
• “0” = OFF
•
= Fan
• “I” = Low Heat
• “II” = High Heat
Check that the heat control switch is set to the off position before plugging the heater into the mains supply.
For greater economy, use the high heat setting initially and then switch to the low heat setting.
For the Low and High heat settings the fan remains at the same settings, only the heating block changes to
create the greater/lesser heat output.
THERMOSTAT
Turn the thermostat knob until the maximum temperature is obtained on the graduated scale.
When the desired temperature is reached, slowly turn the knob anti-clockwise until the heater turns off (you
will hear a click). The temperature will now remain constant, regulated by the thermostat.
PROOF OF PURCHASE
To receive warranty retain receipt as proof of purchase. (Refer to back of booklet).
SAFETY DEVICE
~ This appliance has two protection devices:
The first device, automatically disconnects & reconnects the appliance at a preset temperature,
The second safety device disconnects the appliance permanently in case of overheating, by means of a
thermal fuse. (It is non resettable)
IMPORTANT! ~ NEVER COVER THIS HEATER!
Covering the heater will cause activation of the non resettable safety fuse.
