ÁMBITO DE APLICACIÓN
El Herbi 4 está diseñado para utilizarse con herbicidas no selectivos como los que contienen glifosato y está recomendado por BAYER
para la aplicación de Round Up ® con volúmenes de pulverización bajos.
El equipo también se puede utilizar para la aplicación de otros productos, incluidos los herbicidas selectivos, pero los usuarios deben
leer las etiquetas de los productos para comprobar si el volumen de pulverización y las tasas de mezcla son adecuados.
- Para prevenir la deriva, evite pulverizar a velocidades de viento superiores a los 3 m/s y mantenga el disco del pulverizador a
aproximadamente 20 cm del suelo. - Evite los caudales superiores a 150 ml/min.
- Utilice siempre ropa de protección adecuada, incluidos guantes, botas y máscara de protección. Lea siempre las etiquetas de

CALIBRATION
Calibration Formula Flow rate (ml/min) = Spray band (m) x Application rate (l/ha) x Walking speed (m/sec) x 6
Spray Band = 1.2m
Walking Speed = 1msec
Application volume = 10 or 20 l/ha
then Flow rate should be 72 or 144 ml/min.
Time to treat 1 ha = 139 minutes
Note: Always calibrate using actual spray mix

APPLICATION
The Herbi 4 is suitable for use with non-selective herbicides such as those containing glyphosate and recommended by BAYER for
application of Round Up ® at low spray volumes.
The equipment can also be used for application of other products including selective herbicides but users should read the product
labels to check spray volume and mixing rates are suitable.
- To prevent drift avoid spraying in wind speeds > 3m/sec and maintain atomiser disc around 20cm above ground. Avoid fl ow rates
exceeding 150ml/min.
- Always wear suitable protective clothing to include gloves, boots and face shield. Always read product labels for mixing
instructions and comply with national regulations for pesticide use.
- Check electrical connections are free from corrosion every 50 hours of use including atomiser motor. Clean electrical contacts
and apply appropriate lubricant to exclude moisture.
- Sprayer tank and hose pipe should be cleaned through after use with water and always dispose of residues and washings
appropriately. Clean external surfaces with a damp cloth.
- Store sprayer and pesticides in secure area away from sunlight and foodstuffs. Always remove batteries during storage.

WARRANTY
Our goods are guaranteed for two years from the user’s purchase date against all manufacture or material fl aws. The warranty is
strictly limited to free replacement of parts that our services consider defective. The warranty shall not apply in case of improper
use of our materials, disassembly and/or alterations performed to our devices, and to those parts of normal wear and tear that
require maintenance. The warranty shall not apply in case of negligence, imprudence and irrational use of the material. Dispatch and
transportation costs of parts under warranty as well as workmanship that were not performed in our factory shall be borne by the
user. To invoke this warranty, send us the part subject matter of the claim, carriage free, together with the receipt or the purchasing
invoice.
