Gearbox in Horizontal Position, Left or Right of pump

 

 
The oil filling point is on the side of the casing (RH gearbox shown) and is 
symmetrically opposite for LH gearbox. 
The oil level check point is lower on the side. Oil capacity and type as Down position 
detail.
