9.2.2 The Spectra Window
The spectrometer measures raw spectra, from the raw spectra, the system calculates the absorbance spectra.
In an absorbance spectrum the
absorbance factor of the single wavelengths
are represented with a loga-
rithmic scale. The maximum value is 4.51.

Using the Zeiss coefficients (see pre-previous page) to each even-numbered wavelength of 200 nm to 708 nm
there is assigned a value. Uneven-numbered wavelengths get the value of the preceding even-numbered
wavelength.
