HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT OF CAR SAFETY SEAT HARNESS
ATTENTION! The harness must always be adjusted to child's height.
Always check the proper shoulder harness height before you install the child safety seat into the
vehicle.
Proper setting of harness is slightly below the child's shoulders, see image 4. Child safety seat offers
three openings for harness height adjustment.
(Fig. 4A NO Too low / 4B NO Too high / 4C YES Correct)
If the child safety seat is equipped with additional cushion: Before you apply additional cushion make
sure that the harness is placed in the lowest openings. This is the only position where this accessory
is permitted to be used.
ADJUSTMENT OF HARNESS HEIGHT AND USE OF "Y" SEATBELT
ATTENTION! Harness must always be adjusted to child's height.
If the height of the shoulder harness in the child seat is not correct for the height of your child, then
set the height of the shoulder harness according to the following procedure:
1. Press the harness release button, see below Step No. 2, grab both belts and pull towards you to
release. (Fig. 7-20)
2. Press the central buckle and release the harness. (Fig. 8-21)
3. Pull both ends of the harness from the plate "P" placed on the back side of the seat. (Fig. 9-22)
4. Pull both ends of the harness, pull them through the child safety seat and its upholstery in outward
direction. (Fig. 10-23)
5. Pull through both ends of the harness at required height. (Fig. 11-24/12-25) Lock in both harness
clips into the buckle, in order to easier check the proper facing of harness straps. (Fig. 13-26)
6. Hook in again both harness ends into the plate. (Fig. 14-28)
7. Check whether the plate and harness ends are located in the same position, as shown in figure 15-
29.
ATTENTION! Check whether the harness is not twisted anywhere.
Releasing the shoulder harness (Fig. 16)
Step no.1: Shoulder harness is released by pressing the button (under the child safety seat cover) on
the front side of the child safety seat.
Step no.2: Press the point marked by the word "press" and simultaneously grab the shoulder harness
with your other hand. Pull the shoulder harness toward you to release it.
Securing a child using the "Y" belt
First set the height of the shoulder harness (see paragraph "Adjustment of harness height"),
according to the following:
Step no.1:
Release the "Y" belt (see paragraph above „Releasing the shoulder harness"). Press the
central buckle, place the released shoulder harness straps each on its side. Put the child into the child
safety seat. Place the shoulder harness over its shoulders.
Step no.2: Place together both metal parts of the buckle (figure no.17-A) and insert both ends
simultaneously into the opening in the upper section of the buckle until the moment they click into
their positions (figure no.17-B).
By pulling both shoulder harness straps upward you check whether the "Y" belt is properly secured
(figure no.17-C).
Tightening shoulder "Y" belt
Pull the central adjustable strap up to the point, where you achieve full tightening of
"Y" belt
(Fig.19).
"Y" belt should be adjusted in a way that once tight, the child does not feel any discomfort, but also
that the belt is not too loose.
To release the "Y" belt (see paragraph "Height adjustment of shoulder harness") press the button
under the cover and at the same time pull both harness straps toward you.
