Transport and Lifting Instructions
Safety Information
This section is provided for reference and does not supersede any government or company policy
regarding the loading, transport or lifting of GMG machinery.
Truck drivers are responsible for loading and securing machines, and should be properly trained and
authorized to operate GMG machinery. Drivers are also responsible for selecting the correct and
appropriate trailer according to government regulations and company policy. Drivers must ensure
that the vehicle and chains are strong enough to hold the weight of the machine (see the serial number
plate for machine weight).
While loading and unloading, the transport vehicle must be parked on a level surface and secured to
prevent rolling.

After releasing the brakes there is nothing to stop machine travel. Machine will roll freely on slopes.
ALWAYS chock the wheels before manually releasing the brakes.
