Assembly
1. Fit the blower tube (4) onto the motor housing.
2. Push the blower tube onto the housing depress the
locking button and slide the tube until the lock button
locates into hole.
3. To remove tube depress the lock button and slide the
tube off the housing neck
Use of extension cord
WARNING.
A damaged
extension cord can cause electric
shock or a fire. Please inspect
the extension cord periodically.
The tool must not be used if the
cord is damaged in any way.
Replace a damaged extension
cord before use.
1. Use a heavy duty extension cord, suitable for outdoor
use and so marked. An ordinary duty extension cord will
cause loss of power and may overheat.
2. Keep the extension cord behind you, away from the area
of operation.
Switching on and off
1. To switch on, move the switch (3) to the “I” position.
2. To switch off, move the switch (3) to the “0” position.
WARNING.
The tool runs for approximately 5 seconds after
it has been switched off. Let the motor come to a complete
standstill before setting the tool down.
Operation
1. Hold the blower at an angle
of approximately 45 degrees
and sweep from side to side
with the nozzle end about 5 to
10cm above the ground.
2. Slowly advance keeping the
accumulated pile of debris in
front of you.
3. If the air flow is too strong, lift the unit a little higher
from the debris or blow from a greater distance from
the debris.
WARNING.
Flying debris can cause serious personal injury
to the operator, bystanders or pets. Keep bystanders and
pets at least 5m away from the area of work and always
wear suitable eye and ear protection, long pants and sturdy
shoes or boots whilst operating the tool.
