- The cables of the electrostimulator should not be wrapped around
people’s neck to avoid any risk of strangulation and suffocation.
- Mobile and fixed radio communication devices could influence the
functioning of the electromedical device: see the tables attached to
this manual.
Special precautions for incontinence treatments.
- Patients with extra-urethral incontinence should not be subjected to
treatment with the stimulator.
- Patients suffering from excessive incontinence due to evacuation
disorders should not be treated with the electrostimulator.
- Patients with severe urinary retention in the upper urinary tract should
not be treated with the stimulator.
- Patients with complete peripheral denervation of the pelvic floor should
not be treated with the stimulator.
- Patients suffering from a total/subtotal prolapsed uterus/vagina must
be stimulated with extreme caution.
- Patients with urinary infections should be treated for these symptoms
before starting the stimulation with the stimulator.
- Before removing or touching the probe, it is necessary to turn the
stimulator off or adjust the intensity of both channels to 0.0 mA.
- The treatment is a personalized medical prescription: do not lend the
stimulator to other people.
SIDE EFFECTS AND CONTRAINDICATIONS
Isolated cases of skin irritation have been observed in people with high
skin sensitivity.
In case of allergic reaction to electrode gel, suspend the treatment and
contact a specialist.
If during the treatment signs of tachycardia and extrasystole appear,
suspend the treatment and contact your physician.
Contraindications
Use is not recommended in the following cases:
- Stimulation of the anterior neck (carotid sinus).
- Patients with pacemakers.
- Patients with tumor diseases (consult the oncologist).
- Stimulation of the brain region.
- Pains with unknown etiology.
- Sores and dermatological diseases.
- Acute traumas.
- Stimulation on recent scars.
- Pregnancy.
