UNDESIRED INPUT STATE MESSAGE
This is the message that is transmitted when the user has selected an undesired input state to cause a different
report rate. When this Mode is enabled, the user defined Undesired Input State report rate supersedes the At Rest
and In Motion report rates when the Input(s) is (are) in an undesired state.
The Standard Message Subtype field of this message, contained in byte 7; bits 4-7, has a value of 4.
The Input Status Value of byte 7; bits 0-3 in the Standard message indicates which Inputs (Input 1 or Input 2) are in
an undesired state and trigger the Undesired Input State report rate along with indicating the status of inputs (open
or closed).
The reporting of the inputs status may be configured in 2 different ways:
1. The status of inputs captured when the Undesired Input State message is triggered.
- This option will indicate the input states closed or open when Undesired Input State message was triggered by
the S1C.
2. The status of inputs captured while building the Standard Message and is ready to transmit.
- This option will be helpful since Undesired Input State Message always needs a GPS fix preceding a
transmission.
- This option will give flexibility to capture Missed Undesired State Inputs Status while attaining GPS fix.
- This option will give flexibility to capture status of Inputs after GPS fix is obtained since the GPS fix could take
up to a maximum of 4 minutes.
RE-CENTER MESSAGE
The Re-Center message is transmitted when Reduced Messaging Mode is selected and the SmartOne re-centers
(automatically sets a new Change of Location Area).
The Standard Message Subtype field of this message, contained in byte 7; bits 4-7, has a value of 5.
