There is either no or a decreased
water flow. The prefilter is clogged. Replace the prefilter cartridge.
Flow through the purifying filter will
decrease and eventually clog when
exposed to an excess of
microbiological loading materials in
the water. This failsafe feature
reduces the chance of product use
beyond its intended life, and will
shut down the filter when it is
exposed to contaminated water. Replace all filter cartridges.
The water tastes bad and has an
odor. The filters are expended. Replace the filter cartridges.
The system is contaminated. Sanitize the system. Call 1-800-247-
1087 for instructions.
Faucet LED indicator light does not
function after a battery change. The battery is dead. Replace the battery.
The battery is not installed correctly. Install the battery correctly, paying
attention to the polarity.
Water leaks at the push connect
fittings. The tubing is not pushed in all the
way. Push tubing in all the way into
fittings.
The tubing is not cut square. Cut the tubing square.
The tubing is nicked. Remove the nicked portion and
reinsert the tubing into the fitting.
The outer tubing surface is not
smooth. Remove the rough portion, and
reinsert the tubing into the fitting.
