Operating panel in the roof storage, cooling system
Protect the operating panel in the roof storage from humidity, rain or spray water at any time! Keep the roof
storage closed in bad weather conditions!
Trailers with a cooling system in the roof storage: The cooling system – in any type of weather condition! –
must only be operated while the roof storage is closed!
III. Driving and „Loading“ your Trailer correctly
Stick to the prescribed bearing load. Please ensure a uniform distribution of the trailer load.
1
Speed Limit
Please stick to the prescribed speed limit.
2
Coupling Head
Elastic coupling (specialized trailers): The coupling head on the vehicle must always be clean and free of
grease, oil and rust; please clean with denatured alcohol/spirit. Please ensure that the coupling head is fully
snapped in before driving!
Security coupling rope: Before starting your road trip you must check if the security rope is securely fastened
and slipped over the coupling head completely (when the coupling is stationary). When the coupling is
removable you must always use the eyelet to hook in the security rope. If there is an eyelet you must use it
in Germany – this is prescribed by German law.
IV. Parking Times
1
Decoupling your trailer, securing your trailer with carrying wheel and parking brake
The parking brake, comparable to the recommended use of a parking brake in a car, should only be used if
absolutely necessary. Because sticky brake linings may cause severe blockage or wear and tear of brakes.
2
Long-term Parking
When the trailer is parked for a longer time, e. g. several weeks in a row, the wheels should be supported by
active use of the crank supports (if available) in order to avoid flat or deformed tyres. Moreover, we
recommend jacking up the axis completely by using additional props.

Initial easily removable Rust
The high corrosion resistance of stainless steel is based on building a chrome oxide layer of around a
thousandth millimeter thickness. This so called passive layer is very thin but rebuilds itself continuously when
the steel surface is in contact with oxygen. In most cases this is enough protection to guarantee that most
mechanical impacts, disturbances or violation of the surfaces do not leave visible traces. The finer the
surface, the better is its protection against corrosion.
However, outdoors dirt, environmental pollution, dust and so forth in combination with initial easily removable
rust can stick to the surface; one could easily and wrongly assume that this may be real rust when it shows
on the surface. For example, if metal industry, the ocean or other saltwater sources are located nearby. The
reasons for initial easily removable rust are particles of ferrite origins.
These superficial traces can be easily removed. We recommend, in addition, to frequently clean the trailer
and to use a special stainless steel care- and maintenance spray for cleaning all stainless steel parts of your
trailer. Dirty dog paws, too, may leave traces on stainless steel.
