Cleaning and maintenance
Daily cleaning of the equipment
The manufacturer recommends the following at the end of each working day.

Clean showers, group gaskets, group flange with a brush.

Wash filters and filter handles in warm water adding a special detergent product (for use with coffee machines).

Back flushing: Put the blind filter firmly inside the filter holder (removing the filter which might be in the filter holder).
Pour 1 spoon of special coffee machine food quality detergent inside the blind filter and insert the filter holder firmly inside the
coffee brewing head.
Press the K1 and K5 keys and release. The cycle are repeted 5 times. When you’re done, remove the filter holder and rinse
water on top of the blind filter inside the filter holder. This is to remove residuals of the cleaning product.
Take the filter holder out of the group and remove the blind filter. Do not leave the filter holders inside the group when
machine isn’t used over night. This will increase the lifetime of the group gaskets.

Clean the cups tray and grid without removing the tray from the machine.

Clean the hot steam wand and spout accurately with a clean non-abrasive damp cloth after each single use without touching
it directly with any part of the body to avoid injury or damage due to the hot surface of the spouts.

When necessary clean the metal parts of the bodywork carefully with a clean non abrasive cloth without touching it directly
with any part of the body to avoid injury or damage due to the hot surface of the spouts.

Turn the machine off prior to proceed to the following operations:
•
Clean the drip tray and grid.
•
Clean the plastic recipient located in the part under the drip tray. Use a spoon for this purpose.
•
Clean the bodywork with a non-abrasive damp cloth. Never use aggressive products or alcohol.
