Switching off or answering an appointment alarm

An appointment is signalled with the selected ringer melody (page 113). The stored

message (page 86) or

Reminder

is shown in the display. Press the display key

Off

switch off the appointment alarm. The appointment alarm will ring for 30 seconds if it

is not answered. Expired appointments remain in the memory. In order to be able to set

a new appointment, you must first delete the expired appointment.

Night service

You can set up call divert for each receive MSN which automatically diverts all incoming

calls for a particular period each day (

Start time

End time

) or at the weekend (

Sat/

Sun all day

) to an external phone number, another internal user, or with the CX253isdn

to an answering machine. For example, when a business might normally be closed

(from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.) all calls from the office could be diverted to a private

number.
When diverting a call externally, only the MSN which is assigned to the base station as

the receive MSN can be diverted from that base station.
By factory default, Night service is deactivated. To activate Night service, you must first

specify the divert destination.

Setting the forward destination

Precondition:

Night service is

deactivated

When an appointment is displayed, you can open the SMS menu with the

SMS

display key and write and send an SMS.

If external call divert to an external phone number is activated using

Immediately

(page 99) at the time when Night service is supposed to

start, the following applies:

Call divert is deactivated until the end time of Night service is reached.
