The Virtual Server PPPoE/DHCP/Static Configuration Tab
The B49G is configurable to behave as a Virtual Server, allowing remote
computers on the WAN (Internet) side of the network to be automatically
redirected to local server(s) on the LAN (your private network) side of the
network.
Protocol
The protocol used for the virtual service
Port
The port number of the service used by the PC on the
LAN side.
Virtual Server IP
The server computer in the LAN that will be providing
the virtual services
For example, if you have an FTP server on the LAN side you wanted
Internet users to access, suppose the PC has a local IP address of
192.168.1.1, you would use the following virtual server settings:
Protocol: TCP
Port: 21 (FTP uses port 21)
Virtual Server IP: 192.168.1.1
Enable: enable
