Disassembling a Proove’it© cell and maintenance
Place the cells in a proper sink. Unthread the nuts from the bolts using the two 17 mm wrenches. Allow
the solutions to be drained into the sink and remove the concrete specimen along with the gaskets from
the cell and blot them dry.
For gaskets bonded with epoxy to the specimen, gently remove the rubber gaskets from the epoxy so that
they can be reused. Clean the gaskets of all remaining epoxy. The gaskets may be reused as long as they
are intact, without cuts and permanents indentations.
Use clean water to wash the cell halves and stop any chemical reaction of the solutions with the mesh.
Use finally a clean cotton cloth to dry the parts.
