Exchange the valve cone:
– Shut off the garden-pipe valve
– Open the garden valve so that any residual water can flow out
– Hold the valve body before loosen and remove the top element
– Release set screw and remove spindle with valve disk (2)
– Insert flat spanner into vice and carefully release the plastic
valve-cone from its seating with a jerk movement (picture)
– Fix the new plastic valve cone (with spring) into its seating by
lightly striking with a rubber hammer
– Insert the spindle with valve disk (2) as far as it will go into the
valve top (6) and tighten the set screw
– Insert carefully the spindle with valve disk (2) into the valve
body (3), hold the valve body and screw in the
– Now open the garden-pipe valve
– Check that all works properly

– Plastic valve cone
– Spring
– O-ring
