PIANO-MODUS
In the piano-mode you determine how incoming MIDI data of channels 1 and 2 are
processed.
If the Piano-Mode is switched (ON), channels 1 and 2 are enriched with Piano compatible
effects, if a piano sounds is selected.
The Chorus-Effect is not available for channels 1 and 2 when the piano mode is activated.
For channels 3-16 there is no piano effect available except for the GM-Chorus. If the piano
mode is deactivated, the piano effect is not available for any of the 16 MIDI channels. Still
the the GM-Chorus-Effect can be added on to all channels.
By default the Piano Mode is set to “ON”

REGISTRATIONS
Your GEWA UP 260 G Digital Piano can store up to 3 banks (A, B & C), 6 presets of user
defined sound combinations. These settings support you to maintain your most favorite
instrument settings. These are, amongst various others, a few examples of possibly
registrable functions:
• Sounds inc. effect settings
• Combined, dual sounds with all custom settings
• Split sounds incl the keyboard split point
• MIDI settings, as MIDI Transmit Channel, Program Change, etc.
• Transpose, Temperament and Fine Tuning
• System settings, as Contrast, Backlight, etc.
After modifying your sounds you have room for 18 settings/registrations in total, organized
in 3 banks (A, B, C) and 6 slots each:
1. Press the “USER SETTINGS“ button
2. Select your storage location from A1 to C6
3. Repeat this if you like for more registrations
4. Use the “EXIT“ softbutton to leave the menu
